Are pets allowed on the vessel?
We love animals, but for the safety and comfort of all our passengers, we only allow service animals performing in an official capacity on board. Service animals are trained to assist passengers with disabilities and are permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you’re planning to bring a service animal, please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
All sales are final and non- transferable. If you wish to change your reservation to a different day please contact us.
Is the water taxi wheelchair accessible?
Both boarding locations have a fixed ramp to allow wheelchairs on board. However, accessibility depends on the tide.
Do infants ride for free?
Children under 2 ride for free.
Can we bring food and drinks onboard?
We allowed drinks onboard, no food. Keep in mind Presque Isle Park does not allow alcohol on premises.
Do you accept cash onboard?
Presque Isle Water Taxi is a cashless business.
Is the water taxi available for private charters?
Yes, you can charter our water taxi for a wedding shuttle, private sightseeing cruises, sunset cruises, and more. Please email us for private charter at [email protected]
Is smoking allowed onboard?
Smoking or vaping is prohibited onboard.
Is there a restroom onboard?
Yes, vessel has a full restroom onboard.
Can we fish while the boat is underway?
Unfortunately, fishing or trolling from the vessel is not allowed.
